The cottage has been beautiful converted into an award winning self catering cottage which was once the outbuilding and food store to what was formerly Hayton House Mansion. The Lodge sits in serene, open parkland only minutes from the village shop and traditional local pub.
With the border city of Carlisle close by to the west, the famous Blacksmith's shop of Gretna Green to the north, Brampton, Hadrian's Wall, Eden Valley and Lake District all within easy reach, it is the ideal self catering cottage to discover some of the most beautiful and historic parts of Cumbria and the Scottish Borders.
